The lecture is aimed at computer science students and students of other engineering and natural science subjects who have no direct reference to electrical engineering. The students have gained an adequate overview of some of the focal points of the electrotechnical fundamentals of information processing and can explain the essential facts. You understand the basics of semiconductor circuit technology and the underlying semiconductor components. As computer scientists working in practice, they have the necessary tools to understand the functional principles of computers and their peripherals and are therefore - at least in part - expert discussion partners when working with engineers. This lecture is offered in the winter semester as a compulsory course in computer science and technical computer science.
The lecture is held in German.
